This incredible fabric developed by the masters of slub, ONI, boasts unique characteristics, and a super-low tension weave. Weighing in at 20 ounces, this heavyweight fabric has a thick yarn which has been hand woven on vintage shuttle looms, allowing the natural fibers to poke out at irregular intervals. The Asphalt name that the brand have given the fabric of course comes from its resemblance to the hard Japanese road surfaces.
Offering a tapered silhouette with a little more room in the thigh, the 902 boasts modern styling, and superior comfort. Durable features can be found in the punch through copper rivets, concealed back pocket rivets, raised belt loops and back pocket mouths, genuine leather patch, and custom manufactured ONI donut buttons. To finish this jean off, the brand have added a red selvedge line, to match the eyes of their demonic mascot. Due to the rigid nature of the fabric, the sizing of this piece comes up a little small, and we would advise you to try 2" larger than you would normally wear.
