This 601xx 1947 from Freewheelers & Cos sub label The Vanishing West is a brilliant vintage inspired jean with a lot of character. Based on the much loved 1947 501XX from Levis, this jean has a mid rise which sits comfortably on the waist and goes straight down from the thigh, offering a great vintage silhouette.
Punched copper rivets, a reinforced button fly, heavy duty bar tacks and canvas pocket bags all help this jean to be as durable as possible, whilst the brand have used only vintage machines when constructing their jeans. The rinsed, 14oz denim has been brilliantly woven to produce an incredibly smooth finish, much like the American denim from the mid-20th Century.
